A clean facade with intact joints protects the masonry and lifts the whole appearance of the house. We clean gently and repoint with the right mortar — so the facade looks beautiful and stays watertight for years to come.
Gentle cleaning
Algae, soot, and old paint are removed with methods suited to your particular masonry — from soft low-pressure washing to gentle chemical cleaning. We always choose the mildest method that works, so the stone is not damaged.
Repointing
Old, porous joints are raked out and replaced with new mortar in the correct strength and colour. On older houses we use lime mortar that lets the masonry breathe — the wrong joint can otherwise do more harm than good.
Sealing & protection
After cleaning and repointing, the facade can be impregnated so it repels water and dirt without sealing the masonry. We advise on when it makes sense — and when it does not.
